Lexar's highest-performance CompactFlash to date, the Professional 1000X, is about to ship.

The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities leave Lexar for retailers and distributors today, meaning they will begin to show up on some U.S. dealer shelves as soon as the end of this week, with many more to follow next week. Other countries and regions, including Canada and Europe, will very soon see their first deliveries as well.

The Lexar Professional 1000X 128GB is slated to ship in about two weeks, putting it at dealers beginning in early March.

Last month, we reviewed the 32GB capacity of the Lexar 1000X and found it be the fastest CompactFlash card we'd ever tested.
