Nikon Capture NX 2 now available for purchase

Capture NX 2 for Mac and Windows, the latest release of Nikon's NEF conversion and image editing application, is now available for purchase, Nikon USA has announced. When bought directly from the company in the U.S., the price is US$179.95, or US$109.95 to upgrade from Capture NX 1.x. The software is also expected to be available at U.S. Nikon dealers, and is probably shipping now or soon in other countries too.

As of this writing, boxed copies of Capture NX 2 are listed as "temporarily out of stock" at Nikon Mall, but downloadable full and upgrade versions are available.

Earlier this month, Capture NX 2 was unveiled and released in trial version form.
