Canon updates Digital Photo Professional, EOS Utility and more
Thursday, November 1, 2007 | by Rob Galbraith
Canon has released updates for Digital Photo Professional, EOS Utility, ImageBrowser (Mac)/ZoomBrowser EX (Windows), Canon RAW Codec (Windows Vista), Picture Style Editor and PhotoStitch.

Changes of note include the ability to process EOS-1Ds Mark III and EOS 40D CR2s in several of the updated applications, Intel-native performance in ImageBrowser 6.0.2a (as well as an all new look for the bundled RAW Image Task on both platforms), compatibility in Picture Style Editor 1.1 with more Canon cameras that feature a Picture Style menu (the earlier version of Picture Style Editor would only load EOS 40D CR2s) and the addition of a lens aberration correction function to Digital Photo Professional 3.2.

These updaters can be downloaded from several of the compatible EOS digital SLR pages on the Canon USA website, including via the EOS 5D product page (the updaters are the same, regardless of the camera product page you choose to access them). Once there, click on Drivers & Downloads, then Drivers / Software, to access the updaters.

Thanks to Alex Pröfrock and Emile Gregoire for bringing this to our attention.
