LowePro announces DryZone Rover backpack
Monday, November 21, 2005 | by Rob Galbraith

Lowepro has developed the DryZone Rover, the latest addition to its waterproof line of photo bags. It incorporates a lower rubber-coated nylon DryPod compartment for items that must stay dry, an upper compartment for personal items that could withstand getting wet and a 50-ounce (1.5 litre) HydraPak hydration system. The company claims the backpack is "the first of its kind to incorporate a hydration system with a camera carrying solution."

The DryZone Rover will be available in grey/black or yellow/black and measures 13 (W) x 9.6 (D) x 21.1 (H) inches. It's not showing as available yet on any of a handful of online retailer web sites we checked today. Tthe street price initially appears to be close to US$200 in the U.S. More information is in a press release.
