How to estimate fees on video with stills
Monday, July 11, 2011 | by Eamon Hickey
The blog, A Photo Editor, has posted an interesting Q&A session with two former art buyers who answer still photographers' questions about how shooting video is priced and estimated compared to still photography assignments, especially on jobs where both kinds of imagery are requested.

The post has a commercial/advertising focus, rather than editorial, and discusses the way moving imagery has traditionally been commissioned as work-for-hire, as opposed to still images where usage rights are often part of the fee negotiation. The comments by readers that follow the post are also worth reading.
