Photographer Adam Tow has updated his Annoture metadata synching utility for Apple Aperture and iView MediaPro to v1.0.1. He has also released a second utlity for Aperture, called Timeature, that enables editing of the Image Date entry in a picture's database record. Both utilties are for the Mac only.
Tow notes the following about Annoture 1.0.1:
This update brings compatibility with Aperture 1.5 and iView MediaPro 3.1.2, along with speed improvements, Aperture selection support, German localization, and more. Annoture is a metadata bridging solution for Aperture and iView MediaPro! With Annoture, you’re just a click away from sharing metadata between these two popular image management and cataloguing applications. Spend more time working with your decisive moments than worrying about double-entry and incomplete metadata!
Annoture 1.0.1 is US$15 to register.
About Timeature 1.0.2, which was first unveiled earlier this month, Tow offers this:
Timeature lets the user adjust the Image Date field of images imported in Aperture. The correct Image Date ensures that your photos are sorted properly within Aperture. This field is sadly not currently user-editable, hence the need for Timeature.
Timeature is also US$15 to register.
