Think Tank Photo to ship gel, SD card and battery holders next month
Thursday, April 5, 2012 | by Rob Galbraith
Think Tank Photo will soon release new wallet-style carriers for SD memory cards, flash gels and digital SLR batteries. SD Pixel Pocket Rocket will hold nine SD cards, Strobe Gel Wallet has five slots sized to take Rosco Strobist Collection gels (or any slim gel that's about 3.25 x 1.5 inches) and DSLR Battery Holder 2 and DSLR Battery Holder 4 will accept two or four digital SLR batteries, respectively.

Both SD Pixel Pocket Rocket and Strobe Gel Wallet feature a business card slot and removable tether strap.

DSLR Battery Holder 2 and DSLR Battery Holder 4 are designed for the batteries that ship with most digital SLRs, such as the LP-E6 that powers the EOS 5D Mark III and several other Canon models, or the EN-EL15 used by the D800 and some other Nikons. Neither holder will take the larger batteries supplied with cameras like the EOS-1D X and Nikon D4.

The company already makes several accessory wallets, including the Pixel Pocket Rocket (nine CompactFlash cards), Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket (four CompactFlash and three SD cards) and AA Battery Holder (eight AAs).
