Hasselblad releases Universal Binary of FlexColor for Mac
Wednesday, March 15, 2006 | by Rob Galbraith

Hasselblad has released a Universal Binary version of FlexColor, the company's software for driving the Hasselblad and Imacon lines of digital cameras, digital backs and scanners.

Version 4.5.3b3 is now available in beta form, with the main change since v4.5.2 for Mac being the inclusion of native code for Intel processor-based Macs, and therefore much-improved speed of operation on these computers. As a Universal Binary application, it will also run natively on PowerPC-based Macs. This release requires OS X 10.3.9 or later. To download the software you must be a registered user of a compatible product.

Other changes in 4.5.3b3 for Mac are noted in the Read Me. The official release of FlexColor 4.5.3 for Mac, as well as v4.5.1 for Windows (which will have the same feature set at v4.5.3 for Mac), is planned for March 24, 2006.
