Do you own a Paul C. Buff Einstein 640 and a PocketWizard MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 (Canon or Nikon version)? LPA Design, the maker of PocketWizard gear, would like to hear from you.

The company is planning a brief beta test of its upcoming PowerMC2 remote power control module for the AC-powered monolight and has begun building a list of photographers interested in participating.

Update, December 21, 2010: A strong response to yesterday's request for beta testers means they now have all the photographers they need to evaluate the PowerMC2, says LPA Design's David Schmidt.

The PowerMC2 remote power control module will be released once the beta process has completed. It's to be sold exclusively by Paul C. Buff through its direct sales operations in the U.S., Europe and Australia. The PowerMC2 price is anticipated to be under US$100 in the U.S. (the equivalent price in Europe and Australia may be somewhat higher).

An overview of the PowerMC2 is in an October 2010 article.
