Aperture 1.1.1 released
Thursday, May 4, 2006 | by Rob Galbraith

Apple today released Aperture 1.1.1 for Mac, a minor update that fixes several bugs and improves integration with iPhoto.

New in Aperture 1.1.1 is the ability to selectively import photos from an iPhoto library. Fixed are the following bugs introduced in the recently-released v1.1.

  • Improper function of the white balance tool. White balance is now "spot on," says  Kirk Paulsen, Apple's Senior Director of Professional Applications Product Marketing.

  • A problem resulting in the display of an erroneous message indicating that the system's graphics card wasn't supported has been corrected.

  • Several instances of the program crashing have been addressed.

Aperture 1.1.1 is a free update for licensed users of v1.1. It's available via the Software Update feature of Mac OS X, or as a standalone updater here.
