Light Crafts has released LightZone 2.1.1, the latest in a flurry of recent updates to the company's zone system-based image editing and RAW conversion software for Mac and Windows. The release notes list the following changes:
Reduced the likelihood of Windows users encountering file locks (a.k.a. rename or delete errors)
Certain batch processing issues now throw error messages instead of causing application hangs
Implemented a fix for very small TIFF images which could cause crashes in some situations
URLs to Light Crafts web store now fixed and prepared for internationalization
Licensed users of an older version of LightZone can download the trial version of LightZone 2.1.1 to obtain the update. LightZone 2.1.1 can be purchased for US$249.95, while the feature-reduced LightZone Basic 2.1.1 is US$149.95, direct from Light Crafts' online store.
