Easier laptop viewing outside with Lastolite's Ezyview
Friday, October 1, 2004 | by Mike Sturk

Lastolite has announced the Ezyview, a collapsible cube designed to make it easier for photographers to view their photos on a laptop outside in bright sunshine or rain.

The Ezyview cube and black-out hood are both made of weather resistant rip-stop nylon. The company has plans for 2 models - a larger size for photographers with bigger laptops and a smaller size for photographers with smaller laptops.

Lastolite says both will be available before the end of 2004 worldwide. The Lastolite web site has not been updated with information on the Ezyview.

Also on show in the Lastolite booth at Photokina 2004:

The Ezybalance. Similar in appearance to a collapsible reflector, but with grey on one side for metering and neutral white on the other for setting camera white balance. Ezybalance comes in 12", 20" and 30" sizes. The Lastolite web site has not been updated with information on the Ezybalance.

The Tri Grip. Lastolite has expanded its range of Tri Grip reflectors, which can be easily held with one hand. The reflectors are available in a range of surfaces and sizes.
