Photo Mechanic Lite 2.0r10 for Mac and Photo Mechanic Pro 2.0r10 for Mac add the ability to apply batch IPTC info during an Ingest Disk operation, among several Ingest enhancements.

Other changes in the latest revision of the popular image browser include:

  • Finder icons and other preview resource created during disk ingest
  • Source disks may be merged into one destination folder
  • IPTC Stationery Pad dialog now closes when IPTC info is being applied
  • Various changes to program preferences

Two week demos of the US$150 Photo Mechanic Lite for Mac and the US$295 Photo Mechanic Pro for Mac are available from the Camera Bits website.Contact Dennis Walker for information on purchasing and quantity discounts. Windows versions of Photo Mechanic Lite and Pro 2.0 are in development, and an earlier Photo Mechanic v1.3 for Windows is available. Earlier this week, The Camera Bits web site was updated to include links to Quantum Mechanic Lite and Pro for Windows as well.
