Extensis Portfolio Server 10 adds video support, iPad template

Extensis Portfolio Server 10, released today, features improved support for playback of video files, new file processing options, easier searching and other ease-of-use enhancements plus, within the NetPublish module, a template tuned for Apple's iPad and other tablets.

Porfolio Server 10 is available in Studio, Professional and Enterprise editions, each with different upgrade, new license and competitive cross-grade prices. Trial versions of all three are also available.

Extensis will hold a one-hour webcast to introduce Portfolio Server 10 on July 21, 2011 at 2pm eastern time.

Pricing and Availability:
Portfolio Server 10 is available immediately and starts at an estimated retail price of $1,999US. Competitive upgrades are available for a variety of products, including Final Cut Pro Server®. Existing Portfolio Server customers under a current annual service agreement (ASA) will receive product upgrades free of charge, and upgrade pricing is also available for existing Portfolio Standalone, Portfolio Server and Portfolio Studio customers.

Portfolio Server is available in English, French, German, and Japanese.
