Invoicing program for Mac released
Friday, October 6, 2006 | by Mike Sturk

ClickableBliss has released Billable, a program for the Mac that keeps track of billable services, then generates invoices for these services. While the program hasn't been created for working photographers specifically, it appears to have a set of features that would make it useful to a Mac-based freelancer. Features of Billable 1.0.1 are the following:

  • Select services you want to be paid for and create invoices with a single click
  • Generate PDF invoices
  • Keep track of clients with a Client Editor
  • Import clients from an address book
  • Create a flat fee service and specify a manual total cost

A Quicktime movie showing the program in action can be viewed here. Billable 1.0.1 is available here for US$19.95 until October 31, 2006; after that, the price rises to US$24.95. A fully-functioning 30-day trial version is available.

Other photographer-friendly billing or business management applications we've come across include fotoBiz, BlinkBid, iBiz, PhotoByte and Studiometry.
