Golfing photos taken to new heights in the Himalayas
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 | by Mike Sturk
Golf Digest features an audio slideshow of interesting photos and fun commentary from staff photographer Dom Furore in a project called High In The Himalayas.

Furore shot the black-and-white frames in the show with an Ebony 45S 4x5 view camera loaded with Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros QuickLoad film. His arsenal of view camera lenses was comprised of 58mm, 80mm, 110mm, 150mm, 240mm and 400mm focal lengths.

The colour photos were captured with a Nikon D300 and AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED, AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED, AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED and AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED lenses.

"I prefer [the D300] for 'adventure' travel as it's smaller, has a flash and uses the smaller wide lenses," he adds.
