Phase One releases Capture One 4.1
Phase One has released Capture One 4.1 for Mac and Windows, an update to its RAW conversion and image editing application for digital SLRs and medium format digital cameras and backs. The new version adds the ability to process RAW files shot with the Canon EOS Rebel XSi/450D, Nikon D60, Mamiya ZD and ZD back as well as several Pentax and Sony models. It also introduces a watch folder feature and new lens correction and tethering functionality.

Canon Europe offering free warranty extension on EOS-1D Mark III, EOS-1Ds Mark III
Earlier this week, Canon Europe announced a no-charge warranty extension program for the EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III. Under the terms of the program, these models' standard one year warranty will be extended to two years, with no change in the level of warranty coverage. Chuck Westfall, Technical Advisor at Canon USA, says that there are no plans to offer a similar program in the U.S.
