Adobe, Canon, Nikon reduce workforces in wake of softening demand
Monday, December 8, 2008 | by Rob Galbraith
The global economic crisis is taking its toll on three of the biggest players in digital photography: in recent weeks, Adobe, Canon and Nikon have all announced or implemented reductions to their workforces in the light of softening demand for the things they make. A total of about 3200 workers at the three companies are affected.
