A high-resolution photo circulating on the web, taken of one of the photographer corrals at the Beijing National Aquatics Centre earlier this week, shows about 100 accredited shooters using a mix of both Canon and Nikon equipment. If you like to see sports photographers in action, the photo is worth a peek.

At this venue at the time the photo was taken, there are more Nikon than Canon shooters present, though the proportion of each brand undoubtedly changes a bit from event to event.
The photo was originally posted as part of a blog entry on the Spanish-language Caborian photo enthusiast website. Photographer José Manuel Colomo is writing regular Olympic dispatches for the site, under the pseudonym he uses in the site's forums: Russell Price.
