Midnight Snack: A screenshot from The Night Shift -- Photographing Owls and Bats by Tom Vezo
NatureScapes.Net has recently published two interesting articles on the use of an automatic triggering device and flash to photograph certain types of wildlife.

The first, entitled The Night Shift -- Photographing Owls and Bats, describes the efforts of photographer Tom Vezo to shoot these nocturnal creatures, while Joe McDonald dives into the details of using the Phototrap trigger in Capture the Incredible Using the Photo Trap and High Speed Flash.

A subsequent forum discussion contains more interesting tidbits about this type of photography.
