| Aperture-related fixes, new RAW file support among changes in Mac OS X 10.5.3, released today |

Apple today has released Mac OS X 10.5.3, an update to its computer operating system that among other changes "[a]ddresses compatibility issues with Aperture 2" related to the use of the Time Machine backup feature and adds RAW decode support for twelve additional digital cameras and backs, including the Nikon D60 and several Hasselblad and Leaf models.
Apple's published information on the update doesn't specifically describe what Time Machine-related Aperture problems have been corrected by the new OS release. The newly-supported digital camera RAW files are:
- Hasselblad CFV-16
- Hasselblad H3D-31
- Hasselblad H3D-31II
- Leaf Aptus 54S

- Nikon D60
- Olympus E-3
- Pentax *ist DL2

- Pentax *ist DS2
- Pentax K100D Super
- Sony DSLR-A200
- Sony DSLR-A350
