Think Tank Photo is now shipping the Hydrophobia 300 - 600, an innovative long lens rain cover designed to stay on the lens, out of the way of the focusing ring, until rain is imminent.

 

It's made to fit 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4 lenses (the latter lens requires the use of an included extension piece) and eyepieces for both Canon and Nikon SLRs are available.

 

The Hydrophobia 300 - 600 has a manufacturer's suggested list price (MSRP) of US$150, plus US$35 for the eyepiece.
