Nikon has released new firmware for the D80. The update, which brings both the A and B versions of the camera's firmware to 1.10, adds support for the MTP protocol over a USB link and improves long exposure noise reduction.

 

The firmware is available in downloads for both Windows and Mac.

 

Nikon also recently posted Capture NX 1.3.1 for Mac, an update to the company's image editing application that corrects an instance of NEF corruption in Mac OS X 10.5.
