Nikon has recently released ViewNX, a new image browser that includes basic NEF conversion capabilities, and Transfer, an application for copying photos from memory cards to the computer. Both ViewNX and Transfer are free downloads from Nikon websites and are available for Mac and Windows. Follow the links below to download.
