YouSendIt, a service for sending large files across the Internet, has released a plug-in that enables photos to be uploaded directly from within the Windows versions of Photoshop CS2 and Photoshop CS3. The plug-in, which is in beta right now, is a free download from the YouSendIt website. The final version of the plug-in is slated for release the week of May 28, 2007.

 

Note that while the download page indicates the plug-in is compatible with Photoshop CS2 for Windows, we've confirmed with the company that it will also work in Photoshop CS3 for Windows (the download page should be updated soon to reflect this). A Mac version of the Photoshop plug-in is in development but a release date has not been set.

 

YouSendIt offer both free and paid file transfer accounts (we've been happy Business Plus customers for several months). Earlier this year, YouSendIt released a plug-in for Apple Aperture.
