Rankin has photographed a number of seemingly
severely cut and bruised celebrity faces, made up to look that way as part of a domestic abuse awareness campaign in the United Kingdom. Female celebrities in the UK were selected to illustrate the point that domestic violence can happen to anyone, regardless of their age or situation.
