Lastolite has begun to ship two of the items it unveiled at Photokina 2006. Initial shipments of the Ezybox Hotshoe, as well as both sizes of the HiLite Background, have already left Lastolite for global distribution, says Gary Astill, Product Development Manager for the company. Astill describes the rollout this way:

The first shipments of these 2 products have already been despatched to many of our world wide distributors. Due to the overwhelming demand for these products at Photokina, it has left them in short supply. However, we are working hard to ensure all our distributors receive additional stock over the forthcoming weeks.

Ezyboz Hotshoe is a softbox intended for use with shoe-mount flash units. HiLite Background is a collapsible white backdrop that can be lit internally for shadow-free portrait photography; it's available in two widths. Our Photokina coverage of these products is in a September 27, 2006 article.
