| Sony jumps to third place in Japan digital SLR sales |

Bloomberg reports that Sony jumped into third place in digital SLR market share in Japan for July and the first three weeks of August, owing to brisk domestic sales of its recently-released Alpha DSLR A100. Canon and Nikon are number one and two in home turf market share, respectively, while Pentax and Olympus round out the top five, notes the article.
