Earlier this month, Camera Bits posted for download a user guide that covers v4.4.x of Photo Mechanic, the company's popular photo import, browsing and FTP transmission application. This is the first update to the program's manual in some time, and should help new users get up to speed more quickly with some of Photo Mechanic's deeper features.

The 109-page PDF document, which is available in the Camera Bits support forums, describes the Mac version, though most of what's covered pertains to the Windows version also, says Kirk Baker of Camera Bits. A manual for the Windows version specifically is being drafted too, but a release date for that has not been set.

In a separate thread, Baker also notes that Photo Mechanic 4.4.3.2 is nearing completion.
