Creativepro.com's Ben Long has written an enthusiastic first look at a beta of Nikon Capture NX. Long says that Capture NX's editing features are strong enough that users of non-Nikon cameras may buy the program to work on their TIFF and JPEG files.

The final release version of Capture NX is currently scheduled to ship in July, 2006.
