A new touring color management seminar called Picture Perfect Color will visit 21 U.S. and Canadian cities starting this month and going through the end of October, 2006. The seminar will be taught by photographers Robert Farber and Phil Nelson, and it's produced by GretagMacbeth, The Graphic Intelligence Agency (a training subsidiary of GretagMacbeth), and Photoworkshop.com. Company sponsors include Canon, Apple, and Adobe.
The seminar is a full day event (9am to 5pm) and costs US$399. Some color management files and charts, including a GretagMacbeth ColorChecker, and some instructional texts are included in that price.
The first seminar will be held in Columbus, Ohio on May 16, 2006. A full list of cities and dates for the tour is available at the seminar web site, and registration can be done online.
