GretagMacbeth has set Friday, December 2, 2005 as the date of release for the next update of applications in the company's ProfileMaker line of colour management software. The main changes in ProfileMaker 5.0.5 are improved profile quality and support for the Eye-One iO automated scanning table (which itself is poised to ship).

The software will be a free update for licensed users of a v5.x ProfileMaker version, and will be downloadable from the GretagMacbeth web site.
