MediaStorm, a web site that describes itself as an "online publication [which] combines photography, video and audio elements to deliver a uniquely powerful and immersive experience to its audience," has officially launched. The first six multimedia projects planned for the site are live, and are absolutely worth a look.

MediaStorm is headed up by Brian Storm, formerly the Director of Multimedia at msnbc.com and more recently a vice-president at Corbis.
