Fujilfim has released v2.18 of the firmware for the FinePix S3 Pro. The download pages notes a single change in the firmware since v2.16:

1) Updates for the setting of the sharpness for JPEG images on the PC control mode.

The user-installable firmware is a free download from Fujifilm's web site.
