Version 1.2 of Depth of Field Calculator (DOFC), a widget for use in Mac OS X 10.4's Dashboard feature, has been released.

As its name suggests, the widget aids in performing depth of field calculations. It can be configured to display in metres or feet, incorporates a sensor size/film format popup menu and other configuration options.

DOFC is free, though author Norbert Fürst welcomes financial contributions: "your donation keeps me mentally sane, and this helps development a lot."
