| Leica Digital Modul R tested |

Digital Outback Photo has posted some initial impressions and a handful of test photos from Leica's 10-megapixel Digital Modul R (DMR).
The DMR is a removable digital back that fits on a Leica R8 or R9 35mm SLR camera body. It appears that the DMR is nearing commercial availability after several months of delays, although we could not find it listed in stock in a quick survey of large web retailers today.
