Transcend has announced a 2GB 150X Secure Digital (SD) card (the press release actually refers to a new line of 150X cards but only the 2GB capacity is currently listed on Transcend's web site).

Like other recently-announced or shipping SD cards with stratospheric speed ratings, Transcend's 150X 2GB SD card is designed to use the faster data timing modes ushered in with v1.1 of the SD specification. As such, it requires a camera or card reader also built to SD v1.1 to take advantage of the card's speed potential.
