| Konica Minolta, Sony to jointly develop dSLR cameras |

Konica Minolta and Sony have announced an agreement to jointly develop digital SLR cameras that use the Maxxum/Dynax lens mount.
The announcement alludes to an implied synergy between Konica Minolta's camera-specific technologies, such as autofocus, and Sony's imaging sensor, image processing, and lithium-ion battery expertise. It does not say when products from this partnership will reach the market.
