The tech website tom's networking has published an extensive review of the NETGEAR RangeMax Wireless Router (WPN824), which is designed to offer the speed and range advantages of so-called MIMO Wi-Fi equipment at a lower price.
The review includes direct comparisons against MIMO wireless products, performance evaluations with standard 802.11g Wi-Fi gear, as well as some useful background information on these faster proprietary extensions to the 802.11g standard.
