Wacom has introduced the Cintiq 21UX interactive pen display. The display is a kind of cross between a high-end 21-inch LCD monitor and a Wacom graphics tablet.
You work with a Cintiq 21UX by using a pen directly on the LCD screen which features a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, a 170 degree viewing angle, and a 400:1 contrast ratio. Its tablet technology provides 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity and 5,080 lines-per-inch resolution.
A Wacom press release says the Cintiq 21UX is scheduled to begin shipping in March for an estimated street price of US$2,499 in the U.S.
