Sigma has announced three new "DC" lenses, which are designed to cover only the reduced image area of so-called APS-C sized sensors (such as those used in the Canon EOS 10D/20D and Nikon DX-series digital SLRs, among many others).

The lenses are:

• 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM
• 10-20mm F/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
• 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC

All three lenses are listed as "available soon", and no pricing information is given. The Sigma announcement also does not specify in which lens mounts these new optics will be offered.
