Numerous tech news web sites are reporting that Microsoft's Bill Gates demonstrated a Nikon D2X communicating wirelessly with a PC running Windows Media Center (a variant of the Windows operating system) during his keynote address at the CES trade show in Las Vegas yesterday.
The computer apparently became unresponsive during this portion of the demo, however.
Microsoft also used a D2X, as well as the Canon EOS-1D Mark II, to demonstrate wireless connectivity at their booth at Photokina 2004 last fall.
