Wildlife photographer Steve Bloom's book Untamed, a collection of exceptional photographs taken in Africa, Antartica, Eurasia and the Americas, will hit bookstores worldwide this month.

About a third of the photographs were shot with Canon 1-series digital SLR cameras, including the EOS-1Ds.

A sneak peek at printed versions of some of the photos that will be appearing in the book suggests that this 426-page tome will be a must-have for wildlife photography afficionados, or anyone who appreciates fine photography.
