Canon today has announced the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E1A (dubbed the WFT-E1 outside the US and Canada).

The wireless and wired Ethernet transmitting device will be compatible with the EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1D Mark II and EOS 20D, and is slated to ship in November 2004. A price has not been set in the US.
