Integrated Color Corporation ColorEyes, software for creating profiles for digital cameras, has been updated to v2.2.
The new release improves the way highlights are handled by a ColorEyes-generated profile, says Integrated Color Corporation's Jack Bingham:
"The way highlights are mapped above the 92 L* of the target has changed. The software was mapping highlights in a less than desirable way. Now we take the camera's tonal values and map them exactly as they are captured above 92 L*."
Licensed users of both the Commercial and 20/20 versions of ColorEyes can receive the update free by contacting Bingham at jack@integrated-color.com. Upgrading from the original ColorEyes to ColorEyes Commercial is US$200; from Commercial to 20/20, also US$200.
