Apple has announced three new Cinema displays, including a 30-inch version with 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution.

The 30-inch display requires a Power Mac G5 with an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL graphics card, but the 20 and 23-inch models are compatible with Power Mac G5, Power Mac G4, PowerBook G4, and Windows computers provided the machines have sufficiently capable graphics cards.

Retail pricing is US$1,299 (20-inch), US$1,999 (23-inch), and US$3,299 (30-inch).
