Olympus has updated the E-1 firmware to v1.2. The update modifies shutter release behavior in the camera's continuous drive mode and provides a viewfinder indication of the active focus point when 3-point focusing is selected. E-system firmware updates are performed via Olympus's Viewer or Studio desktop software, and v1.1 of either program is required for this particular firmware installation.
