In a story datelined March 15th, Reuters reports that Canon has completed plans to boost production of the EOS Kiss/300D/Digital Rebel by 25% to 100,000 units a month. Canon estimates that the worldwide market for digital SLRs will total just over 2 million units in 2004, triple the 850,000 units sold in 2003.
