Pixingo has recently announced PhotoFirst, billed as an integrated post-production tool designed to let professional photographers efficiently import images, edit their take, enhance photos, output finished images for printing or the web, and track the photographer's billable hours. The US$750 program is ICC color-management savvy and can convert RAW image files from a wide variety of Canon and Nikon digital SLRs, as well as a more limited selection of cameras from other manufacturers. A 30-day, fully functional trial version for Mac OS X v10.2 or higher is available for download now, and a version for Windows XP is promised "soon".
