iView MediaPro 1.5.7 for Mac adds support for the cataloging of RAW files from the Canon EOS 10D, among other changes. The update is free for licensed users of MediaPro; a trial version of the US$90 image cataloging program is also available.

Last month, iView released the US$30 Media 1.2, a slimmed-down version of MediaPro that lacks support for RAW formats and caps each catalog at 8000 files (compared to MediaPro's 32,000 file per catalog limit). Media 1.2 is the first release for both Windows and Mac; MediaPro for Windows is expected to ship later in 2003.
